St. David's is pastored by Rev Alf Williams, who joined
us on 1st September 2001 from the Pontypool circuit. St. David's has had
16
previous ministers, and they are listed here.
The church is run by a Church Council, made up of various members of the
church such as the stewards, Sunday school teachers and the
minister.
The church stewards are responsible for preparing the church for
services. They hand out hymn books and take in the collection. The
stewards are: Alan Redpath, John Nash, Julian Mappledoram, Roy Wright
and John Pring.
Roy Gibson is the property manager, and looks after the fabric
of the church.
Mrs Janet Nash is the Church secretary.
The Sunday School is led by Lynne Jones, Sian
Simpson, Gaynor Jones, Helen Griffiths,Andrea Lalande, and Angela Gourlay.
The Sunday School/Church youth clubs meet on a Friday evening
between 5.30pm and 9.00pm. These are run by Angela Ayres, Katrina Ayres,
Sue
, and Sian Simpson.
And there are countless others involved in the day-to-day running of
